Churmuri recipe

Hello my dear readers,

I am back with this recipe for churumuri which can be eaten as tea-time snack..

Ingredients Needed:

Kadalepuri or puffed rice – around 5 cups ( for 3 members)
Onion – around 3 chopped
Tomato – 3 chopped
Grated carrot – around 4 medium sized
Congress kadalebeeja – 1 cup
Sev – 1 cup

Green chutney :
Pudina – 1 fistful
Coriander leaves – 2 fistful
Green chillies – 5 to 7
Jeerige or cumin – 1 spoon

Grind all to a thick paste.

Sweet chutney :

Dry dates ( 4 num) and tamarind pulp( lemon sized) – soaked in a cup of hot water
Red chilli powder – 1 tsp
raisins(dry grapes) – 4
Jaggery – 1 lemon sized

Grind all to a thick paste.



[1] In a broad bowl, add chopped onions, carrot grated, tomato pieces and add green chutney, sweet chutney, congress kadalebeeja, sev and finally add murmura and kadalepuri and mix well and lastly salt..

[2] This chat is a combination of sweet, sour, tangy, spicy tastes, hence can add sweet and green chutney as per your tastes..
